Hey there, my name is Shane! I've helped businesses solve problems and tell stories through the mediums of animation, VFX, and video for over 5 years. I love a challenge, and few things are as rewarding to me as overcoming a seemingly impossible task.
My journey began in high school when my interest in video and VFX led me to job shadowing a local production company and freelancing as a production assistant,
In 2017, I was fortunate enough to be hired as a video editing intern for a digital publishing company called Purch. Purch had experimented with adding video content to their websites off and on for years with little success. Earlier that year, they hired a small video team to get the ball rolling again and brought me on shortly after. What began as a typical internship assisting with the various levels of pre-production, production, and post-production quickly evolved into a full-time gig as they discovered my motion design skills and gave me the responsibility of handling most of their animation and motion graphics needs. During that time, I was blessed to work on projects for brands such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Lenovo, and Shopify.
In 2018, I began freelancing on the side with local businesses and have been doing that at various levels ever since, all of which wouldn't have been possible without the support of my amazing wife and our three beautiful children.
